Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Skylark Learning Club, an online small-group tuition membership for primary-age pupils, operated by Aqua Navis Ltd (trading as "Skylark Education", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11704899, whose registered office is 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF. By joining Skylark Learning Club you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and your child.

1. The membership

Membership includes two hours of live small-group tuition each week (groups of up to four pupils), a monthly digital activity pack, and a curriculum aligned to KS1–KS2. Sessions are delivered online by a qualified, DBS-checked tutor. We will confirm your child's cohort, weekly schedule, and classroom link by email within one working day of joining.

2. Fees and billing

Membership costs £99 per month, billed automatically to the payment method you provide via our payment processor, Stripe. Your subscription renews monthly until cancelled. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email; continuing your membership after a price change confirms your acceptance of the new price.

3. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from your billing portal or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that. If you are not satisfied within your first four weeks of membership, contact us for a full refund of your first month's payment.

4. Sessions and attendance

Sessions run on a fixed weekly day and time for your child's cohort. Sessions are recorded for safeguarding purposes, but recordings are not shared with families, including where a child has missed a session, because they contain other people's children. We may occasionally need to reschedule a session or change a tutor, and we'll give as much notice as we reasonably can.

5. Conduct and safeguarding

We ask that pupils and parents treat tutors and other families with respect. We take safeguarding seriously: all tutors are DBS-checked and trained, and every session is recorded for safeguarding and quality purposes, with the tutor spotlighted so that the video shows the tutor rather than the children. Recordings are held in secure, access-controlled storage, are seen only by staff with a safeguarding or quality reason to view them, and are never shared with families. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full. If we have reasonable concern about a child's welfare, we may take appropriate action in line with our safeguarding obligations, which can include contacting a parent or, where necessary, external agencies.

6. Your information

We collect the information needed to run your membership — see our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how we use it.

7. Liability

We provide Skylark Learning Club with reasonable care and skill, but we don't guarantee specific academic outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the fees you've paid in the 12 months before a claim arises. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll email you before it takes effect.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
